Chlöe Metcalf

Chlöe has worked across mainstream, specialist, alternative and international education. Her experience spans senior leadership, SENCO practice, autism resourced provision management, Early Years leadership and direct teaching of learners with complex SEND.

She founded Neurosparx to provide calm, highly individualised support without asking a learner to fit a standard model. Her work brings together academic teaching, positive neurodivergent identity, sensory processing, regulation, communication, self-advocacy and preparation for greater independence.

Her specialist experience includes PDA-informed practice and support for learners experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance or Non-Attendance (EBSA/EBSNA). She helps families and professional teams understand the barriers behind distress, avoidance and disrupted education, and develop safe, realistic pathways back into learning.

Chlöe also supports families, schools and Local Authorities with EHCP processes, educational reports, provision planning, parent consultancy and professional training. Her previous legal career supports careful analysis of evidence and processes; Neurosparx provides educational consultancy rather than regulated legal representation.

This can include educational support for EOTAS applications and the coordination of personalised EOTAS packages where a child or young person’s EHCP provision cannot appropriately be delivered in a school or college.
